Little Moons (Infants)
6 weeks - 15 months
The Little Moons class offers a safe, nurturing environment for infants ages 6 weeks to 15 months. With loving, attentive caregivers and a focus on responsive care, babies build trust, explore through sensory play, and reach important developmental milestones at their own pace—supported by The Experience Curriculum.

Infant Class Ratio
We maintain a low teacher-to-infant ratio of 1:4 to ensure that each baby receives the responsive care and attention they need during this critical stage of development. Our small group sizes allow caregivers to build strong bonds with each child, tune into their individual rhythms, and create a warm and loving environment that supports emotional security.

Welcome to the Little Moons Class (Infants)
Our Little Moons class is a warm, nurturing space designed especially for our youngest learners — infants ages 6 weeks to 15 months. At this early and essential stage of development, we focus on creating a safe, loving environment where your baby can grow, explore, and begin to engage with the world around them.
What We Do
Each day in the Little Moons class is thoughtfully structured around the individual needs of each child. We provide responsive caregiving, tummy time, sensory play, music and movement, story time, and plenty of one-on-one interaction. Our caregivers build strong, trusting relationships with each infant to support their emotional security and attachment.
What They Learn
While it may look like simple play, your baby is constantly learning and growing. Through daily routines and interactions, infants begin to develop foundational skills in:
-
Language and communication
-
Fine and gross motor development
-
Sensory exploration
-
Social and emotional bonding
-
Cognitive development through cause-and-effect experiences
How They Learn
Learning at this age is all about exploration and connection. We use a play-based approach, allowing infants to learn through hands-on experiences and observation. Our environment is filled with soft textures, engaging toys, calming music, and stimulating visuals that encourage curiosity. Caregivers follow each child’s cues and rhythms, supporting natural development at their own pace.
Our Curriculum
In the Little Moons class, we implement The Experience Curriculum—a research-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored even for our youngest learners. It helps guide our daily routines and interactions, focusing on nurturing each infant’s curiosity, sensory awareness, and emotional connections. Through themed activities, intentional play, and meaningful engagement, The Experience Curriculum supports every aspect of early growth while honoring each child’s unique pace and personality.
At the heart of the Little Moons class is love, patience, and the understanding that every moment is a learning opportunity.
